The Nintendo Switch models that work on the TV are all consoles with detachable Joy-Con controls — that is, the traditional Switch and the Switch (OLED model). The Switch Lite cannot be connected to a TV, as it does not have the internal components necessary to reproduce images on an external screen. Furthermore, the fully portable version of the video game does not fit into Nintendo’s official docks due to the different dimensions.

- Open the back cover of the Nintendo Switch dock and connect the power supply to the “AC ADAPTER” port and an HDMI 2.0 or 2.1 cable to the “HDMI OUT” input;
