Netflix app is not compatible with my Android device

The latest version of the Netflix app for Android is not compatible with some devices using Android 5.0 (Lollipop). If you downloaded the Netflix app from the Play Store and saw a message asking you to install an earlier compatible version, follow these steps. Remembering that this version of the Netflix app requires an Android version between 4.4 (Kit Kat) and 7.1.2 (Nougat).

First, you need to configure your Android phone or tablet to install the app directly from Netflix:

  1. Uninstall the Netflix app
  2.  if you haven’t already done so;
  3. Then, access “ Settings”;
  4. Tap on “ Settings” ‘;
  5. Tap on “ Security”;
  6. Check the box next to Unknown sources: Allow installation of applications from sources other than the Play Store;
  7. Touch “ OK” to confirm the change.

Then, on your Android phone or tablet:

Netflix app is not compatible with my iPad

In my case, I got the password wrong more often than allowed on my iPad 2 and had to remake my life on it. When downloading the app from Netflix, I came across the blessed message. I thought: now, yes, he turned into a paperweight.

Tested downloading via App Store and it didn’t work? No problem. Follow these simple steps and install a compatible Netflix version:

  1. Open your iPad;
  2. Touch the Apple Store icon;
  3. Instead of searching for and downloading the Netflix app, go to “Purchased” at the bottom of the screen;
  4. Locate the Netflix app and tap it to download;
    It will display the message “Do you want to download the latest compatible version?”;
  5. Tap “Download” or the cloud icon.

See, there’s a way for everything. Prepare the popcorn and have fun!
