Finally: Sony revealed this Thursday (11) how the PlayStation 5 will be designed, in addition to the PS5 Digital Edition version without a 4K Blu-ray drive; we also have accessories like a headset with 3D audio and a media remote control. The console is scheduled to launch in late 2020.
Sony shows PlayStation 5 (PS5) for the first time
The PS5 has a spaceship-like look, with most of the surface in white and details in black; this follows the design of the DualSense controller , unveiled a few weeks ago. Sony just showed it standing, so we still don’t know if it can be placed horizontally.
The console was introduced in a few minutes at the end of an hour-long presentation on PS5 games , so there are still several questions to clarify. Of course, we already know several things: it will have graphics power of 10.28 TFLOPs , support for 4K games, hardware accelerated ray tracing, and SSD to load games faster.
Below are the first images of the accessories: a charging base for DualSense , a wireless headset with 3D audio – one of the highlights of the PS5 – and a media remote control.
