Netflix Mobile Plan (₦1,200 per month)

The Mobile plan cost ₦1,200 per month. This is the cheapest option on Netflix. The Netflix Mobile plan offers standard-resolution (SD) 480p content on phones and tablets.

You can only stream on one device at a time, and the possibility of downloading series and movies is limited to a mobile device.

Casting or mirroring from a mobile device is not supported on this plan.

Netflix Basic Plan (₦2,900 per month)

The basic plan previously cost ₦2,900 per month. Considering the advantages offered, this is the simplest Netflix in Nigeria. The contents are reproduced in SD (Standard-resolution) quality, in 480p resolution.

There is no possibility of using multiple screens simultaneously, and the possibility of downloading series and movies is limited to a mobile device.

Netflix Premium Plan (₦4,400 per month)

The premium plan cost ₦4,400 per month. This is Netflix’s “most luxurious” plan, offering reproductions of content in Ultra HD 4K, HDR, Dolby Vision and Dolby Audio resolution, that is, the highest possible quality within the streaming.

The number of simultaneous screens increases to four on this plan, as well as support for downloading on up to four different mobile devices.

How to Cancel Your Netflix Subscription

You can cancel your Netflix subscription at any time, without paying any fee.

  1. Just log into Netflix with your email and password;
  2. Click on the “Account” option on your profile;
  3. Click on “Cancel Subscription”;
  4. Netflix will ask you to confirm the cancellation;
  5. Note the information about the end of the billing cycle, keep an eye on this date, from then on you will no longer be able to watch movies and series.

Whenever you want, you can resume your Netflix contract, choosing the same plan you used before or a new package.

Can I return to Netflix after cancelling my account?

If you choose to cancel or suspend your Netflix subscription, your account may be inactive. To reactivate and go back to watching series and movies, access your user profile and click on “Restart Subscription”. You can do this using any of the profiles.

If your account is inactive, you will need to restart your subscription the next time you access it. The billing date will change to the one when the subscription was reactivated. However, you may need to update your payment details.

If your account has not yet been fully closed (still able to log in), you will be able to keep your account in active status and the billing date will not change.

How to change your Netflix plan

  • From your browser, go to Netflix and log into your account. Tap on your profile icon, located in the upper right corner of the screen, and click on the “Account” option;
  • In your account details, in the “Plan details” section, tap on the “Change plan” option;
  • On the next screen, a list will appear with the three Netflix plan options: basic, standard and premium. What you already have contracted will be marked as “Current Plan”. Click on the one you want to change to and then tap on “Continue”;
  • A dialog box will open with the details of the change. Confirm that the information is correct. Note that the new plan will only take effect on the next subscription charge and that the date in question appears on the screen. If everything is correct, click on “Confirm Change”. Okay, you’ve already switched your Netflix plan.
