Minecraft has a series of commands and cheats, which allow you to profoundly change the game experience. The console commands work for Windows, macOS and Linux and also for iPhone, Android, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. They allow you to modify the climate, change the player’s status, summon animals and enemies and much more. Check out our list of Minecraft commands and cheats.
Minecraft cheats and commands for PC, iOS, Android, PS4, Xbox and Nintendo Switch
The commands that activate various cheats and effects in Minecraft can be activated in almost all versions of the game, both desktop (for Windows, macOS and Linux), and mobile (for iPhone, Android) and also for PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
The exception is Minecraft Pi Edition, an exclusive version for Raspberry Pi and the only one 100% free and free. Very limited, it is exclusively dedicated to teaching programming.
How to enter the cheats
The way to enter the cheats is very simple, just open the chat:
- On Windows, macOS or Linux, press the “T” key.
- On PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, press ➡️ on the directional pad.
- On iPhone and Android, tap the button to open the chat
- Enter the command and confirm.
That’s all.
Take note that all commands start with “/” and some ask for extra parameters, such as values and coordinates, so that they can work correctly.
When creating a new world, it is possible to determine whether it will support cheats or not. If the commands have been turned off, you will need to turn them back on:
- Press the “ESC” key and click “Open for LAN”;
- Click “Allow cheats” and leave “ON”.
