Desired on Facebook, the dislike exists in TikTok, it is only hidden. The “I don’t like” button helps filter the feed and show fewer videos that you don’t like in the “For you” tab. You can adjust your preference and watch fewer boring videos in the app.
How to dislike TikTok videos
To let you know that you don’t like something and improve your feed:
- Open and watch the video you want to dislike;
- Press your finger on the screen and hold the video;
- Touch the “Not interested” option with a broken heart 💔.
- However, in the case of inappropriate content and that violates any terms of use of TikTok, you should go for a report of abuse, spam or other reason you find.
The app suggests some themes, such as self-harm, harassment or bullying, pornography, violence or offense, spam, copyright infringement, hate speech, terrorism, encouraging the use of drugs or weapons and “other” in which you can specify.
